Today June 1st, 2012 El Salvador’s first Craft Brewery is open in Playa El Tunco!
Ahora primero de Junio del 2012, se abre la primera Cervecería Artesanal en la Playa el Tunco.
Since we just opened, our hours are limited until we get more cervezas artesanales brewed and all of our systems in place. So for the next few days you can come during the day to watch us brew. Or better yet visit Hotel Mopelia to taste our beers. The Brew Bar tasting bar is open during the day from 9 am to 5pm Wednesday through Sunday. We serve great hand poured coffee and shaken iced coffee drinks in the morning and light bocas. And of course all of our beers! Como acabamos de abrir nuestras horas están limitadas hasta que tengamos más cervezas Artesanales y todos nuestros sistemas en su lugar. Así que para los próximos días puede venir durante el día para vernos preparar o mejor aún visitar el Hotel Mopelia a degustar nuestras cervezas. Nuestra bar de cerveza artesanal está abierto desde las 9 am hasta las 5 pm de miércoles a domingo. Servimos diferentes tipos de cafes y tenemos bocas y por supuesto nuestras cervezas!
- Hotel Mopelia has a selection of our cervezas ready to drink! Visit Hotel Mopelia after 5pm every day to taste our cervezas artesanales!
- Mopelia is serving our much loved Venus Wit, a Belgian Tropical Wit brewed with maracuya y pina.
- And our new La Odisea seasonal ale which is an American dark brown ale brewed with local tamanique lemon blossom honey and manzanas pedorras.
The rest of the time we will be brewing more beers for you to enjoy so come watch and learn and enjoy Playa El Tunco!
And we will be making hand poured coffee using Viva Espresso coffees made on the Hario, Kalita or french press.

The Brew Revolution micro-cerveceria is located right in the heart of the world famous surf village of Playa El Tunco.
On the main street into the village on the left side. Our building is right in front of the world famous Hotel Mopelia. Famous already for their beer selection they have really upped their game along with us opening they have expanded their beer menu to now include over 40 beers!
We are a small craft brewery and we hand craft every batch of beer. You can watch us hand crafting our cervezas while enjoying our beers. So come on down to EL Tunco today and taste what all your friends have been talking about!
